Reverend Cecil Williams, a prominent community and social activist in San Francisco, has passed away at the age of 95. He was the pastor at Glide Memorial Church in the Tenderloin District for 50 years. Williams, the grandson of a slave, left behind a remarkable legacy of advocating for change. On this Juneteenth, we remember and honor him for his dedicated work towards freedom and the betterment of society.
